Quick note on 18-1

This one will sting, but life goes one. It is right up there with the 1986 World Series and 2003 American League Championship. Even the 2006 AFC Championship loss to the Colts still stings. The good news is that as New Englanders we are used to it.

In search of the perfect college linebacker....

Each spring we turn our eyes towards the colleges in hopes we can find an ILB who is 6'1 - 6'3, 245-260 pounds, can run a 4.6 and has football smarts. Each year there are a few hopefuls, AJ Hawk, DJ Williams, Rob Carpenter, Patrick Willis, David Harris. In most case these players are picked well before the Patriots selection.
